About Course:

The Department of Electrical Engineering (EE) at VITM, Gwalior offers a vibrant environment for under graduate, post graduate education (power system) in Electrical Engineering. The field of Electrical Engineering encompasses a broad spectrum of technologies. The students here can study topics such as power generation, electric machine, measurement and instrumentation, high voltage, networks, power electronics and energy conversion, analog and digital electronics, control systems and sensors, microprocessor, mechatronics, renewable energy with a host of other elective courses. The Faculty members have specialization in diverse fields of Electrical Engineering such as Power systems, Electrical Machines, Electrical Drives, High Voltage Engineering, Control systems, Instrumentation, Biomedical Engineering, Hybrid Electric Vehicles and Renewable sources of Energy. Our graduates and post-graduates are highly valued by industry and academia around the world. We see educating the next generation of electrical engineers as a key role. Course Details :-

The programme is designed to create innovators and researchers. Students are introduced to core courses which deals with the electrical machines, circuits, drive equipments. It also deals with basic electronics, power system, microprocessors and protection equipments. It aims to deepen the knowledge and skills of the students on the basic concepts and theories that will equip them in their professional work involving analysis, systems implementation, operation, production, and maintenance of the various applications in the field of electrical engineering.
